You've heard about the concept of a devil on your shoulder, right? There's also meant to be an angel on your other shoulder. I don't know where that guy went but the devil was making his presence felt. Only he didn't look like all the traditional representations you see on TV or in church. No, this guy looked like a green dancing octopus and he was endlessly monologuing about his PhD in English lit and how octopi are underrepresented in it. Here I was on a typical Tuesday morning in the FTX offices wondering why I thought getting into crypto was a great idea and hearing whispers about the Binance deal falling through. Now I have to worry about Mr Salsa Lit and his reminders that there have been $6 billion in customer withdrawals in the last three days. Something tells me November is not going to be the month Sammie is going to follow through on his promises.
